Touring the Dark Net

June 26, 2025 | 12pm PT

What Every Higher Ed Tech Leader Should Know About Cyber Threats You Can’t See

Watch on demand. Understand what’s lurking. Act with confidence.

Cyber threats don’t start with a breach—they often start in the shadows. This recorded session peels back the layers of the Dark Net to help higher education technology leaders and cybersecurity stakeholders understand what’s really at stake.

Whether you're overseeing IT systems, managing sensitive data, or protecting mission-critical infrastructure, this conversation sheds light on the hidden marketplaces, threat actors, and vulnerabilities that traditional risk assessments miss.

What you’ll learn:

  • How these hidden markets actually work
  • What’s fact vs. fiction when it comes to the darknet
  • The tools and tactics used on (and against) these platforms
  • What’s legit in the world of darknet services vs. the pure snake oil

"Stephen and his colleagues at KAIP understand that security is fundamentally about people.  You can have the best technology, policies, and practices in place, but if people don't use them, you might as well invite the threats into your environment.  Working with the team for many years, they know how to help users understand their critical role in security and how best they can utilize tools and processes to keep themselves and their organization safe."
